Travel events look at Costa Rica, cruises

Learn more about exotic Costa Rica as a vacation destination at two AAA Travel events to be held in July.

Located in Central America, Costa Rica is a Spanish-speaking democracy that has received awards for its environmental conservation. It is divided into seven provinces, and the capital is San Jose. Puntarenas is the largest province and is known for its beaches and national parks.

Come to the AAA Travel office in Baton Rouge (5454 Bluebonnet) at 6 p.m. on July 8 for Pleasant Holidays’ free program about touring Costa Rica. For reservations, call (225) 293-1200, ext. 128.

In addition, there will be programs in July on European river cruising. Come to the AAA Travel office in Metairie at 6 p.m. on July 21 or the AAA Travel office in Baton Rouge at 6 p.m. on July 22 for “Go 4th on The River” that will feature Uniworld Grand River Cruises. Tour is set for Yellowstone
