RULE 05.1D - OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
Premier, Premier Plus Homeowners, Premier Select and Premier Condominium
Dwellings must be owner-occupied and used exclusively for private residential purposes, except for permitted business pursuits addressed in this manual. Dwellings cannot contain more than 2 families nor more than 2 boarders or roomers per family. Primary dwellings must be owner-occupied at least 6 months in each calendar year. Seasonal dwellings must be owner-occupied at least 1 week in each calendar year.
Premier Renters
Dwellings must be renter-occupied and used exclusively for private residential purposes, except for permitted business pursuits addressed in this manual. Dwellings cannot contain more than 2 families, nor more than 2 boarders or roomers per family. Joint occupancy is not acceptable unless all tenants have a common insurable interest and can qualify to be listed as a named insured or provide current proof of insurance. An insured may not sub-lease the dwelling to others. Any deviation requires prior underwriting approval.
